Funeral for Dual Terry, 73, of Town Creek will be Sunday, January 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Williams, Bro. R.C. Borden and Bro. Hollis Retherford officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Terry, who died Friday, January 24, 2014, was born April 30, 1940, in Lawrence County to Herbert Brackin Terry and Ollie Dale Mote Terry. He was a member and song leader at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Geneva Williams and Genece Williams; first wife, Mary Frances Copeland Terry; two grandchildren, Braxton Terry and Colin Ray Farley; and one stepson, Sonny R. Terry.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Peggy Terry; one daughter, Rhonda Farley (Ferrell); one son, Rodney Terry (Lisa); one stepson, Steven Terry (Stacy); four grandchildren, Merri Beth Bond (Zac), Nicolas Farley, Ty Terry and Sydney Terry; two stepgrandchildren, Alisha Long (Sheldon) and Mackenzie Terry; one stepgreat-grandson, Braden Long; and one brother, Dorlin Terry (Reevie).
