Funeral for Herman Lee "Buddy" Nolen, 67, of Mt. Hope, will be Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014, from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Nolen, who died Sunday, December 28, 2014, was born November 14, 1947, in Lawrence County to Herman Theo Nolen and Addie Dean Borden Nolen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Nolen is survived by five children; Robbie Nolen Veillon, David Nolen, Jared Nolen, Brandon Nolen and Joshua Nolen, 15 grandchildren, 7 brothers and sisters; Willodean Griscko, Joyce Kelso, Diane Huston, Larry Nolen, Judy Adams, Betty Dover and Jimmy Nolen.
Pallbearers will be grandson and nephews.
