Funeral for Herman M. Luallen, 86, of Moulton will be Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with James Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Luallen died Wednesday, November 9, 2011. He was retired from Wolverine Tube. He was a veteran of World War II and a lifetime member of the VFW. He enjoyed his lifetime fishing permit and was an avid Alabama football fan. His son, Monta Luallen, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gladys Luallen; one son, Roger (Monica) Luallen of Moulton; one daughter, Brenda (George) Hedges of Haleyville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
