Funeral for Herschel Pat Lawrence, 88, of Decatur will be Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Mason officiating. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Lawrence, who died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Parkway Medical Center, was born July 2, 1918, in Williamson, Tenn., to Charles W. Lawrence and Minnie Tomlinson Lawrence. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jean Lawrence; two sons, Billy Lawrence and his wife, Pat, of Lexington, Ky., and Phil Lawrence of Tahlequah, Okla.; two daughters, Patsy Pamaran and her husband, Ramon, of Arizona and Wanda Sheppard of Franklin, Tenn.; one brother, John T. "Red" Lawrence and his wife, Audrey, of Franklin, Tenn.; one sister, Virginia Martin of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
