Funeral for Hester French "Nanna" Bennich 80 will be Sunday November 11, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Bishop Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Bishop Cemetery.
Mrs. Bennich who died Friday November 9, 2018 at her residence was born on June 9, 1938, in Colbert County to Robert Bryant French and Nina Sibley French.  She was a member of Point Mallard Baptist Church for 62 years.  She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Bennich Sr., after 53 years , 3 months and 25 days, of marriage. And son Joe Bennich Jr.
She is survived by her daughter; Anita Penn and husband Tim, daughter-in-law; Vanessa Turner, brother; Robert B. French Jr., sister; Rebecca Barry, two grandchildren; Joanna Borden and husband Chris, Zach Penn and wife Katie and six great grandchildren.
