Hettie Willadean Brackin Easley; 91 of Decatur will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Barry Johnson and Wesley Underwood Easley will be officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The Family will have a visitation one hour before the service.
Hettie "Dean Easley who died on Tuesday December 20, 2016 was born on November 10 1925 in Hatton Alabama to Solan Grant Brackin and Dewey Grissom Brackin. Mrs. Easley was born in Lawrence County and resided in Decatur and was retired from Prestolite Corporation. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Nanny, and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband Underwood "Jack" Easley. Sons Gary Wayne Brackin; Wesley Grant Easley; Daughter Jacqueline Dean Easley Clemons; Her Brothers Jessie L. Brackin, Kenneth Wayne Easley; Wesley Clark Brackin; Regis Grant Brackin. Her sisters Anna Marcella Dotson, Shirley Ann Sullens.
Survived by Daughters Martha Lee Hill of Marseilles IL. Linda B. Johnson and Husband Barry of winder Ga. Sister Mary L. Morgan of Decatur. "Nanny had 12 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
