Funeral for Laverl Pruett, 64, Danville will be Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Elliott Funeral Home, with Bro Ray McWhorter officiating. Burial will be at Thompson Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 12:00 until 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Pruett, who died Thursday, July 12, 2012 was born on May 22, 1948 in Lawrence County to Hewey Pruett and Altie Mae Thompson Pruett. Survivors include, one brother, Mack Pruett, three sisters, Opal Archer, Lorane Keenum and Dorseane Hensley (Jackie).
