Hilda McGee McLemore, of Rogersville, was born November 16, 1938. She passed away from this life August 28, 2026.

Hilda graduated from Lexington High School in 1957. She also graduated from Ray’s Beauty School and worked in the Salon at Ray’s for many years.

Hilda was preceded in death by her husband James Paul McLemore; parents, Clellan and Ruby McGee; sisters, Joyce McGee Deantonis and Shirley McGee Sims; brother, Merlin McGee; sister-in-law, Betsy Stricklin; brother-in-law, Bobby Stricklin; niece, Rhonda McGee.

She is survived by her brother, Roger McGee (Betty); sister-in-law, Shelby White McGee; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 1, 2026, 11 AM at Elkins East Chapel. Burial will be at Civitan Cemetery in Rogersville.
