HOLLIE NEWBURY
Hollie Elizabeth Newbury, 24, of Florence, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009.
She was a wonderful and caring daughter, and a loving and dedicated sister, granddaughter and friend. She loved her children and they were her life. She was an employee of McDonalds on Cloverdale Road for several years.
The funeral service will be Saturday, December 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elkins East Chapel Funeral Home. Bro. Jerry Marlow will officiate. Visitation, at the funeral home, will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in the Bluewater Cemetery.
Hollie is survived by her daughters Katlen and Whitney; father Randy Newbury and his wife Judy, Rogersville; brother Matthew Newbury, Florence; grandfather Glenn Newbury, Florence; grandmother Willie Putman, Rogersville; step-brothers Charlie Gordon and wife Wendy, Hazel Green, Tyler Gordon, Louisville, KY, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; a special friend Kyle Humphries.
She was preceded in death by her mother Norma Newbury, and grandparents Dean Newbury, and Willie D. and Imogene Swinea.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Russell, Dusty Swinea, Mark Swinea, Luke Swinea, Zane Swinea and Randy England. Honorary bearers will be Bill Swinea, Jimmy Swinea and Tim Swinea.
