Funeral for Homer Gene Morgan, 73, of Moulton will be Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with O D.Bowling officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Morgan, who died Friday, April 6, 2007, was born Feb. 28, 1934, in Lawrence County to Walter and Georgia Thrasher Morgan. His parents, five brothers, Holbert Morgan, John Morgan, Henry Morgan, Otis Morgan and Gay Morgan, and two sisters, Onamae Whitlock and Alma Ruth Suggs, preceded him in death. He was retired from Pitt Concrete after 35 years. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Orene Parker Morgan; one son, Randy Morgan (Cindi); one daughter, Debbie Frith (Ray); one brother, Elmer (Ham) Morgan; one sister, Neely Sandlin; four grandsons, Chad Morgan (Tina), Morgan Frith (Loria), Bradley Morgan and Blake Morgan; and two granddaughters, Chasity Warren (Brian) and Soraea Frith; two great-grand daughters, Zaea Frith and Caitlin Warren; and several nephews and nieces. Pallbearers will be Ray Frith, Morgan Frith, Chad Morgan, Blake Morgan, Bradley Morgan and Brian Warren.
