Howard James Glaze, age 39, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday November 25, 2008 at U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham.
Services for Mr. Glaze will be on Friday November 28, 2008 at 2 pm in the chapel of Elkins Funeral Home with Mark Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Hale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on that day at the funeral home from 12pm until 2pm.
Mr. Glaze is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Beadle and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Glaze, and two uncles, Jerry and Roy Beadle.
Mr. Glaze is survived by his son, Christopher Glaze; his father, Haywood Glaze and wife Sherry; his mother, Effie Glaze; his stepdaughter, Kayla Weeks; his stepsons, Brad Norton and James Castile; his sisters, Sonya Pace and husband Chuck, Teresa Nelson and husband Michael, and Susie Wagner and husband Ray; a special friend, Angela Johnson; three nephews, Matthew Wagner, and Joshua and Wesley Nelson; two nieces, Tiffany Pace and Morgan Wagner; one great nephew, Brandon Pace; and a number of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help them with burial expenses.
