It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ida Jeannette Skelton, who left us on March 8, 2025, at the age of 72, in Moulton, Alabama. She was born on August 17, 1952, in Georgia.

Ida was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her daughter, Lindee (Tom); grandsons, Hunter (Madison) and Garrett; granddaughters, Jordan (Matt) and Brittany (Dakota); great-granddaughter, Jaycee; sisters, Brenda (Greg) and Robin (Charles); and brother, Michael. Ida is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and nephews, and a handful of great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Wanda Terry; and one great-nephew, Jackson, and one great-niece, Eden.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Courtland City Cemetery in Courtland, Alabama. Family and friends gathered to honor her life and share their love and memories.

The family received friends following the service from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Courtland Baptist Church, where they offered their gratitude for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.

Ida's memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
