Mrs. Idell Peters, 91 of Florence, passed away on August 6, 2025 at her home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 9th at St. Michaels Cemetery in St. Florian beginning at 10am. A visitation will be held before the graveside service at the Elkins Funeral Home parlor from 9am-9:30am. Services are in the care of Elkins Funeral Home in Florence.

Mrs. Peters is survived by her sons, Patrick and Lawrence A. Peters; grandchild, Megan Peters; siblings, Jean Peden, Marie Owens, Reba Peden, Susie Folgelman, Robbie Zahnd; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Peters; parents, John and Tennie Owens; and sister, Wilodean Hayes.
