Ila Dean Gunn Dothan
Ila Dean Gunn, 87, passed away January 11, 2011 at the Terrace at Grove Park in Dothan. Visitation will he held Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home, Decatur. Funeral will follow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Gunn was born August 17, 1923, in Walker County to Gustus Wiley and Josephine Moore. She was a member of Grant Street Church of Christ. She was a very active member of the Mary Lou Dancy Chapter of Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, her husband, Thomas M. Gunn Jr., a son, Thomas M. Gunn III and a daughter, Sandra Ellen Gunn. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Gunn Peterson of Dothan; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family express gratitude to Covenant Hospice of Dothan and the tender loving care of the Terrace of Grove Park in Priceville and Dothan.
