Ima Jean Parker, 77, of Athens died Sunday at Huntsville Hospital. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, 11AM, at Elkins East Chapel with Bro. Don Osborne officiating. Burial will be at Rogers Chapel in Zip City. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husband, William Price Parker and son, Gary Wayne Parker. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ in Athens. Mrs. Parker is survived by her four sons, William Lynn Parker (Cindy), Max Parker (Robbie), Nathan Parker (Nicole), and Wes Parker; eight grandchildren, Brooke Parsons, Peyton Parker, McKenzie Parker, Aaron Parker, Brett Parker, Katelyn Parker, Nyla Parker, and Bryant Parker; sister, Bobbie Sharp.
