A private graveside service for Irene K. Henderson, 71, of Decatur will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010, at Decatur City Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Jenkins officiating and Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Mrs. Henderson, who died Monday, February 22, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital, was born April 21, 1938, in Morgan County to Bill and Ann Jones Kimbrough. She was a graduate of The University of Alabama with a master''s degree in biology. She taught school for the Falkville school system. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Irene had an adventerous spirit and loved to hike and fish with her boys. Survivors include one son, Bobby Henderson and his wife, Jennifer; three sisters, Ann K. Eyster of Decatur, Sally K. Holmes of Guntersville and Billee Brooks of Dallas, Texas; and three grandchildren, Dylan, Matthew and Chase.
