Funeral for Irene Spears, 89, of Moulton will be Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Graham and Bro. Waymon Fike officiating. Burial will be in Owen Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Spears, who died Saturday, December 12, 2009, was born October 14, 1920, in Lawrence County to Luney Warren and Myrtle Whisenant Warren. She was a member of Owen Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fennel Spears; and son, Willard Spears. She is survived by six daughters, Lucy (Duane) Godfrey of Florida, Martha Holland of Moulton, Kathy Hagood of Bowling Green, Ky., Janice (Harold) LouAllen, Diane Kerby and Debra Terry, all of Moulton; three sisters, Carrie Blankenship, Nell Hill and Sue Parker; three brothers, Bluitt Warren, Shirley Wayne Warren and Kelly Warren; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers wil be Joe Lovett, Stephen Lovett, David Spears, Shane Spears, Matt Holland, Jeremy Hagood, Rodney Hagood, Adam LouAllen, Chris Kerby and Blake Terry.
