Irene Palmer Terry, 93, of Trinity will be Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Reverend Ray Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Terry, who died Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Decatur Health & Rehabilitation, was born July 9, 1918, in Blount County to Iula Palmer and Jane Clara Standridge Palmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lafayette Terry; four sisters, Etter Henderson, Elnora Henderson, Bettie Mae Morrison and Willie Jones; and five brothers, Henry Palmer, L.A. Palmer, Jessie Palmer, James Palmer and Ezra Palmer.
Survivors include one sister, Bercha Cobb; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kerry Wright, Eull Lamon, Kenny Runager, Terry Runager, Robert Palmer and Robert Palmer Jr.
