Mount Hope Funeral for J.D. Bailey, 70, of Mount Hope will be today, Dec. 14, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Mr. Bailey, who died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, was born Jan. 10, 1938, in Mount Hope. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Riley Bailey and Ada Milinda Bailey. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Brenda Bailey; one son, Jason Bailey (Amanda) of Moulton; two daughters, Sonya Vess of Moulton, and Sidonia Foote (Jeremy) of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, MaKayla, Kyle and Chloe; and one sister, Dorothy Nell Borden of Moulton.
