Graveside service for Jack Benton Jones, 88, of Decatur will be Sunday, February 14, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Lillian Eddleman officiating and Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Mr. Jones, who died Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at his residence, was born August 20, 1921, in Atlanta, Ga., to Thomas Paul and Lucille Jones. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was retired from the Western Electric Company and was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. His wife, Nancy Ann Jones, preceded him in death. Survivors include his son, J.B. Jones; daughter, Jackquelyn Jones; two grandchildren, Bryan Jones and Lori Jones Strawder and her husband, Michael; and one great-granddaughter, Amari Strawder.
