Funeral for James Edward Jones, 91, of Decatur will be Friday, April 6, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Ridout''s BrownService Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry McElroy officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Jones died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at his residence. He was born March 1, 1916, in Lawrence County to Arthur and Lucy Jones. Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Earline Jones; four sons, Dallas Jones and wife, Toni, Jimmy Jones and wife, Betty, Jackie Jones and wife, Dean, and Billy Jones and wife, Valorie; two daughters, Linda Bunnell and Brenda Howard and husband, Ray; two brothers, A.W. Jones and Houston Jones; two sisters, Corine Hensley and Ann Spivey; 12 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Josh Howard, Chris Jones, Nick Jones, Joey Smothers, Weston Reed, Rodney Edmondson and Jonathan Goe.
