James Eugene White, age 76, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord on Saturday September 26, 2009.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday September 29, 2009 at 2 pm in the chapel of Elkins East Chapel. Rod Stansky and Jerry Marlow will officiate. Burial will follow in Barkley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday September 28, 2009 from 6 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. White was retired from the National Weather Service where he worked as a meteorologist. He is preceded in death by his parents, Randle and Susie White, and one brother, Robert White.
Mr. White is survived by his wife Sarah Ann White; his sons, Faron White, Darryl White and wife Becky, Phillip White and wife Amber, and Eric White and wife Tika; his brothers, David White and Norman A. White; his grandchildren, Tracey Knighten, Jonathon White, Leslie Durham, Amber Patterson, Darryl White, Jr., James A. White, Jordyn Hyden, Jackson White, Ragen White, Mycala White, and Hannah White; his great grandchildren, Benjamin Knighten, Tyler Durham, Jayden Durham, and Robbie Patterson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Duane White, James A. White, Jackson G. White, Jonathon White, Darryl White, Sr., Phillip White, Eric White, Darryl White, Jr., John Rains, and Jason Goode.
