MR. JAMES LARRY EZELLE
Mr. James L. Ezelle, 65, of Florence, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009. The visitation will be at Elkins East Chapel on Monday, November 23, from 12-2, with the service beginning at 2. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Mr. Ezelle graduated from LCHS class of 1964 and retired from Wise Alloys after 33 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnnie "Shine" Ezell; mother, Lilly Ezell; niece, Debra Wade; nephew, Johnny Ezell; great niece, Johna Hites; and great nephew, Paul Joseph Wade.
James is survived by his sisters, Doris Hites, Joyce Robinson (Sidney), Angela Hice (Larry), Elizabeth Aday (Lloyd); brothers, Hilton Ezell, Pat Ezell (Peggy), Ronald Ezell (Linda), Bill Ezell (Kathy), Jimmy Ezell (Beverly); nine nieces, six nephews, several great nieces and nephews, two great-great nephews, and his long-term companion, Pauline "Polly" Barnett.
Greg Ezell, John Thomas Moore, Jesse Collier, Bill White, Tim Ezell, and Greg Alexander will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Steen, Wayne Dean, Earl Walton, David Gresham, Mark Gresham, Jim Balsh, and Dale Hughes.
Mr. Ezelle''s family would like to give a special thanks to Wiregrass Hospice for all of their help and support. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
