James Alford Glover, age 75, born July 26, 1942 and died September 4, 2017. Alford was born in Limestone County to Robert Alvin Glover and Ida Mae Callahan Glover. Alford was the youngest of 5 children. Mr. Glover was a roofer for 55 years. He is proceeded in death by his parents Robert and Ida Glover: Three brothers; Elmer, Alvin, and Albert Glover: One sister, Elvie Glover, One son Shawn Eric Glover.
Alford is survived by 4 sons; Jerald Glover of Russelville, James Glover of Danville, Jeffrey Glover of Sylvester, Georgia and Bryan Standridge of Moulton: 4 Daughters; Loretta Proctor of Danville, Virginia Glover of Rome, New Youk, Krystal Nicole Glover of Decatur, and Tabitha Hil of decatur. Alford is also survived by 20 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, September 8, at Elliott Funeral Home in Moulton from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 pm at Red Hill Cemetery.
