Funeral for James C. "J.C." Hill, 90, of Decatur will be Friday, May 28, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Sammy Evans and the Rev. Alvin Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home.
Mr. Hill, who died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Parkway Medical Center, was born June 15, 1919, in Morgan County to Bert and Nannie Hill. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church for 49 years.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Geneva Hill; one daughter, Ola Randolph and husband, Anthony; and grandson, Tony Randolph.
Pallbearers will be Homer Jones, Jimmy Evans, Jonathan Evans, Harold Thompson, Donald Morris and Tommy Teague.
