James A. Lovelace age 76 of Florence, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2015. Visitation will be on Friday, April 24, 2015, from Noon till 2:00 P.M. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence with services in the chapel at 2:00 P.M. Officiating will be ________. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Waterloo, Al. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Betty Lovelace. And his mother Katie Guyton.

James is survived by his daughter Susie Lindsey and husband Russell. Two grandchildren, Janie Hall and Levi Hall and wife Chanda. Brother Raymond Guyton and wife Debbie, Grady Guyton and wife Lana, and Roger Guyton and wife Marie. Sisters, Carolyn Lovvorn, Ann Urban and husband Johnny. And numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. As well as his two cherished and loving pets, Max and LiL Jamie

He enjoyed nascar racing, Atlanta braves baseball, going to yard sales, tinkering in his garage, gardening and listening to George Jones.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, his nurses; Rosa and Kristen. And his awesome bath aid Stephanie. Also to Flossie and Dub for their support through these difficult times.
