James Ronald Thornton Decatur
James Ronald Thornton, 65, died Thursday, June 2, 2011. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be today, June 3, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Thornton is preceded in death by one son, James Christopher Thornton.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Luiza Thornton; one daughter, Carmen (Jim) Schrenkel; one son, John Paul Thornton; one brother, Charles Thornton; six nieces, three nephews, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
