Funeral for James Bradley Thompson, 80, of Decatur will be Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Nix officiating.Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.Mr. Thompson, who died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, was born May 19, 1926, in Casper, Wyo., to Sherman Thompson and Bertha Davis Thompson. He was a member of Beltline Church of Christ. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran and a Seabee.Survivors include his wife, Gwilda Tabor Thompson; one son, Maury Thompson and his wife, Donna, of Decatur; one daughter, Valerie Lemmond of Decatur; one brother, Jack Thompson of Texas; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
