James Thomas "Tom" Smith's Obituary
Mr. James "Tom" Thomas Smith, age 58 of Florence passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013. Visitation will be Friday December 20th from 2pm till 3pm.Memorial Service to follow at 3pm. St. Joseph Catholic Church of Florence with Father Roy Runkle officiating.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, James and Adelina Smith.
He was survived by two brothers; Glenn A. Smith and wife Rachel of Florence and Alan Smith and wife Bonita of Tuscumbia. Four nieces and nephews; Marcus, Ashley, Addie, and Christian Smith.
Tom was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He also attended elementary school there growing up. He graduated from Coffee High School in 1972. He also attended and graduated from the University of North Alabama with a degree in Geography.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to St. Joseph Building Fund.
