Jane Lawson, 74, of Florence died Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Huntsville Hospital.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Elkins East Chapel from 12-2 PM. Funeral services will be at 2 PM in the chapel, with Chuck Canterbury officiating. A private graveside service will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Lawson was a member of St. James Methodist Church, an enthusiastic participant in the St. James Circle of Hope. She enjoyed sewing, being active and playing ball with her dog Barney. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed.
Mrs. Lawson was preceded in death by her sister Ellen Ehrhart.
Mrs. Lawson is survived by her husband, Jerry K. Lawson; daughter, Wendy Troutt; son, Keith Lawson; four grandchildren, Ashleigh, Kayla, Tanner, and Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Tanner Troutt, Billy Gamble, Dennis Burgess, Kenneth Bailey, Bill Troutt, and Billy Simmons.
