Miss Jane Stroud Williams, 94, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Glenwood Healthcare. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Henry Cemetery in Corinth, Mississippi with Rev. Sam Hardie III officiating.

The only child of the late D. R. and Helen Williams, Miss Jane grew up in Florence and graduated from Coffee High School. She received her business degree from Huntingdon College in Montgomery and then worked for many years as an accountant at Lamar''s Furniture Store in Florence. Miss Jane was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing golf and bridge and was especially fond of her kitty cats. She was a longtime member of AAUW and the Pilot Club.

A special thank you is given to the administrative, nursing, and activity staffs at Glenwood for the kindness and care shown to Miss Jane.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Florence or a favorite charity.
