Jean Sharp, 75, of Florence died Thursday, May 17, 2012, at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2012, from 2-4PM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the chapel with Steve Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Florence City Cemetery. Mrs. Sharp was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Jean was well loved by all who knew her. She was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Sharp. Mrs. Sharp is survived by her two daughters Melanie Perkins (Randy) and Jo Lynn McClure (Mickey); two brothers Jerome Staggs and Joe Staggs; five grandchildren Ryan and Rachel Perkins, Sara, Hannah, and Katherine McClure.
