Jeanette Bennett the daughter of William and Margie White, age 72 of Savannah, TN, passed away on Tuesday January 13, 2009.
Jeanette''s visitation will be Wednesday evening January 14, 2009 from 6-9 at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence. Service will be Thursday January 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Murphy''s Chapel with Paul Holloway officiating. She will lie in state from 12-2 p.m. Burial will follow at Murphy''s Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Bennett is preceded in death by her parents, William and Margie White.
Ms. Bennett was a loving mother, grandmother and will be well missed. She was loved by all of her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Rita Stricklin, Sheila Clark, Tammie Morris, and Terri Chapa; sons, Jackie, Jerry, and Ronnie Balentine; sister Reba Pownders. She had 9 brothers and sisters, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Stricklin, Chris Stricklin, Pedro Chapa, Kevin Chapa, Steve Balentine and Eric Balentine.
