Funeral for Jerry G. Childers, 56, of Decatur will be Friday, March 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's BrownService Funeral Home. Burial will be in Childers Cemetery in Eva. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Childers died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at his residence. He was born Sept. 4, 1950, in Marshall County to Lemuel Childers and Lola Mae Childers. Survivors include two daughters, Heather Childers and Ashley Childers, both of Decatur; two brothers, James Childers of Trinity and Robert Childers of Decatur; five sisters, Dwynell Burke of Michigan, Arelene Jurges of Decatur, Louise Jones of Guntersville, Wanda Dickerson of Decatur and Georgia Howard of Gadsden; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers will be friends.
