Jerry Hinton, 60, of Florence died Saturday, September 9, 2017, at his residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 14, 2017, 10-11 AM at Elkins Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 12 PM at Vandiver Hollow Cemetery.

Mr. Hinton enjoyed fishing with his grandsons and cooking out with friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie Leon and Myrtle Hinton; sister, Pamela Theresa Hinton; brother, Wayne Baskins.

Mr. Hinton is survived by his daughters, Jessica Williams (Jim) and Teresa Lee (John); son, Jerry Leon Hinton, III; grandchildren, Maelee Joiner, Hayden Joiner, Madelyn Lee, Anslie Oakley, Tate Oakley, Blakely Lee, and Mason Williams; sister, Donna Kay Warble (Brad); sister-in-law, Ann Baskins; nieces, Amy Atherton (Tony) and Angie Holm (BJ).

Pallbearers will be John Lee, Hayden Joiner, Eligah Hartnett, Jim Williams, Tony Atherton, and . Honorary pallbearer will be Mason Williams
