Funeral for Jessie Sparks, 100, Moulton will be Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Elliott Funeral Home, with Bro Gary Ashley, Bro. Ralph Snowden and Bro.Jeffery Sparks officiating. Burial well be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Sparks died Sunday, September 23, 2007. He was born October 11, 1906 in Lawrence County to Jim and Hattie Sparks. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha McDougle Sparks; and daughter Laverne Sparks. Survivors include two sons, J. D. Sparks of Valhermoso Springs and Dwight Sparks of Moulton; two daughters, Ruby Black and Ozell Sparks, both of Moulton; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 10 great great granadchildren. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Sparks, Darrell Black, Steve Black, Justin Clemons, Mike Moore and Heath Johnson.
