Funeral service for Jewel Nadine Allen, 84, of Town Creek will be Sunday, February 23, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ricky Gilley officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Allen passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014. She was born September 13, 1929, in Morgan County to Phillip Rouse and Rebecca Smith Rouse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion T. Allen.
Survivors include her children, Bobby T. Allen Sr., Billy Allen (Dinah), Phillip Craig (Lynda), Katie Vanderford (William), James H. Allen, Marion David Allen, Fred R. Allen (Rebecca) and Marthan Eads; 39 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, F.M. Rouse.
Pallbearers will be Frankie Allen, Tommy Allen, Ronnie Craig, Donny Craig, James Craig, Michael Long, Brian Helton and Matthew Wood.
