Jimmy D. Burney, 81, of Tuscumbia died Monday, May 21, 2018, at Keller Hospital.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 26, 2018, 1-3 PM at Elkins East Chapel.  Funeral services will follow at 3 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Larry Kilpatrick officiating.  Burial will be at Butler Cemetery.

Mr. Burney was a member of Cox Blvd. Church of Christ and Palm Beach Lakes Church of Christ.  He served in the US Air Force.

Mr. Burney was preceded in death by his parents, John and Annabelle Burney.

Mr. Burney is survived by his loving wife, Helen Burney; sons, Tony Burney (Emma) and Randy Burney (Becky); grandchildren, Lina Puerta (Adrin), Gustavo Lemos, and Belle Burney; great-granddaughter, Catalina Cardona; sisters, Fay Bart, Linda Giles (Billey), Virginia McDonald (Aaron), and Gail Tinsley (Ronnie); 18 nephews and 6 nieces.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Pigg, Billy Crosswhite, Jonathan Ary, John Ary, Steven Moore, and Greg Kimbrough.
