Funeral for Jimmy D. Hutson, 74, of Decatur will be Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Elder and the Rev. Eddie Jones officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Hutson died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, at Huntsville Hospital. He retired from Automatic Screw Machine Products with 52 years of service and was a retired minister. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and husband. His wife of 44 years, Barbara Ann Hutson, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Omie C. Hutson; one son, Jim L. Hutson; two daughters, Valerie Jones and Sue Ann Hemphill; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mike Sandoval, Bobby Sandoval, Dennis Sandoval, Jerry Hubbard, Stanley McBride and Floyd Morgan. Memorials may be made to Blount Hospitality House, 610 Madison St. S.E., Huntsville, AL 35801.
