Jimmy Lee Robinson , age 44, of Florence, passed away at his residence on Saturday January 24, 2009.
The funeral for Jimmy Lee Robinson will be Monday, January 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. At Elkins East Chapel, Center Star. Don Williams and Leon Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Lee & Bonnie Sue Sims Robertson.
Jimmy is survived by sisters, Barbara Smiley & husband Billy of Athens, Sharon Jones & husband Wayne, of Athens, Patricia Tribble & Ray Hughes, of Dayton, Tn., Linda Robertson, & Carlos Carrasquillo, of Athens, Lisa Toon & Ronnie Hawn, of Anderson, 20 nieces & nephews, special friends Dan & Van & their families, his dog Spot, and his other dogs.
Jimmy was a greeter of the door at North Carolina Church of Christ. He loved being with his buddies, Dan & Van, riding a 4 wheeler, and going to church.
Pallbearers, will be Kevin Toon, Brad Long, Terry Norman, Chris Holden, Kenny Holden, and Wayne Jones. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Tribble.
