Funeral service for Jimmy Stone, 74, Trinity will be Wednesday July 13, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday July 13, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Stone who died Saturday July 9, 2016 was born on August 24, 1941, in Lawrence County to James and Christine Stone. He worked for Wolverine Tube for 15 years then went to Delphi, where he retired in 2007. He was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church. He was an Avid Bowler for the past 56 years. He bowled at AMF River City Lanes.
He is survived by his wife: Phyllis "Honey" Stone, son; James Chad Stone, three daughters; Deann Saint and husband Allen, Tonja Yambriek and Michelle Michael Russo, three sisters; Charlotte Suess, Brenda Mills and Mary Johnson and seven grandchildren.
