Funeral for Jo Travis, 92, Decatur will be Saturday April 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Dr. Scotty Hogan officiating.  Burial will be at Decatur City Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Ms. Travis who died Wednesday April 18, 2018 at her residence was born on Aug. 30, 1925, in Lawrence County to Joe Terry and Lillie Rodgers Terry.
She was an employee at Prestolite and later a sales clerk at Hancock Fabric Store.  She loved sewing, cooking, and collecting recipes.  She especially loved her flowers.  She was a longtime member of Nothside Baptist Church and later became a member of Westmeade Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wallace Finchum and Curtis Travis, and grandson, Eric Terry.
She is survived by three daughters; Terry O'Brien and husband Bill, Lisa Terry, and Nancy Roberson, two brothers; Billy Terry, and Roger Terry, two sisters; Lou Agnes Dotson, and Joyce Terry, four grandchildren; Pam Borden Faircloth and husband Lee, Joey Borden, Brad Roberson, and Whitney Lambert, two great-granddaughters; Emily and Audrey Faircloth.
