Joe Harold Newton, Jr., 66 of Waterloo, AL passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018.  He was retired from Goodyear as a tire changer and loved restoring and remodeling old cars.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 28, 2018 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Murphy's Chapel Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Barbara Newton; uncle and aunt, Leonard and Nevada Newton; brother, Robert Newton; sister, Nita Newton and grandson, Dustin Newton.

Survivors include children, William Newton (Allison) and Bobby Newton (Tiffany); grandchildren, Bobby Jr., Caitlin, Alyssa, Dylan, Ellie and Wyatt; brother, Bobbie Newton (Shelia); sisters, Debbie Miller (Bill) and Jean Young (Donnie).

Pallbearers will be Norman White, Jeremy White, Tim Abernathy, Tommy Wood, Donnie Young, Dustin Coan, and Bill Foster.
