J.W. "Bud" Applegarth, 75, of Killen died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Elkins East Chapel from 12-2 PM. Services will follow at 2 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Stan Dean officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park.
Bud retired from Ford Motor Company as an Electronic Welder.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sue Applegarth; daughter, Paige Stephenson (Randy); son, Craig Applegarth; sister, Nancy English (Ed); grandchildren, Heath and Kayla Hale, Adam and Melanie Stephenson; great-grandchildren, Brynleigh, Heidi, and Hayden.
Pallbearers will be Heath Hale, John English, Adam Stephenson, Phillip Nelson, Ed English, and Bill Hammond. Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Johnson, Pud Harrison, Dan Thornton, and friends from Killen Diner.
