Funeral for John Leonard Davis, 67, of Decatur will be Monday, October 17, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Ray McWhorter officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Davis, who died Friday, October 14, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital, was born May 2, 1944, in Courtland to Wheeler Davis and Nora Aaron Davis. He was retired from Monsanto.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Davis; two sons, Jonathan Davis and Greg Davis; two daughters, Charlotte Terry and Donna Webster; brother, Ralph C. Davis; sister, Mary Jewell Smith; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Terry, Jamie Terry, Jody Hill, Steve Davis, Jeremy Terry, Lee Kilpatrick, Josh Proctor and Trevor Davis.
