John "Ed" Edward Lisby Sr. age 85 of Florence passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Visitation was held private. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, 2:00 P.M. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Eric Brown officiating. Elkins Funeral Home of Florence in charge.

Ed is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce Lisby. Three sons; Tony Lisby, John E. Lisby Jr. (Shellaine) and Mike Lisby. Two daughters; Debbie Foster (Terry) and Renee Lisby (Billy). Eight grandchildren; Terry Foster, John E. Lisby III, Jamie Lynn Lisby, Leah Foster, James McCreless (Abby), Haleigh Bain (Skylar), Chelsie Lisby (Logan) and Paige Pitts. Great-Grandchildren; Damien Dragon, Shailynn Beasley, Ace Bain, Kaylynn Vickery, Braylyn Futrell, Gaige Vickery, Jack Bain, Charleigh Bain, Brantley McCreless, Carter Smith and a little one due in February.

Ed is a Army veteran and served in the Korean War.

Pallbearers will be Tony Lisby, John Lisby Jr., Mike Lisby, James McCreless, Terry Foster and Cody Sanchez.
