John H. "Howard" Boston

John H. "Howard" Boston, age 85, of Town Creek, passed away Tuesday 7/11/2017. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Friday at Elliott's Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Hollis Rutherford and Bro. Terry Settles will officiate. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented by the U.S. Army at the graveside. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 noon until service time at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Boston was born August 10, 1931 in Walker County to John Boston and Dora Abbott Boston who both precede him in death. He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and was retired from TVA, he was a loving father and grandfather and he was a Mason. Mr. Boston was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Boston, one son, Ray Boston, one sister, Vera Cannon and one daughter-in-law, Janetta Boston.

Survivors include two sons, Rondold Boston (Keeta), and Johny Boston (Mary Ann). One daughter, Shirley Robbins (Tommy). Three brothers, Dewey Boston, Bural "Jack" Boston, and Lonzo "Joker" Boston. Ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. And survived by a daughter-n-law, Denise Boston. Pallbearers will be grandchildren.
