John Thomas "JT" McDougal, 31, formerly of Selma, Alabama, died Sunday, July 1, 2018.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Lawrence Brown Funeral Home in Selma, Alabama. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7, at Saratoga Cemetery in Saratoga, Arkansas.

John was employed at Elkins Funeral Home and was a member of Killen Church of Christ. He had a smile that would brighten the room and a heart of gold.

John is survived by his wife, Tresan Griffin McDougal; two beautiful daughters, Juliet and Penelope McDougal; parents, John and Sheryl McDougal of Selma; brother, PFC Caleb McDougal; grandparents, Sondra Cleghorn of Selma and Martha McDougal of Dierks, Arkansas; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
