Funeral for David Robinson, 71, of Trinity will be Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richie Thompson and Steve Caudle officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Robinson, who died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at his residence, was born Dec. 13, 1944 in Decatur to John and Edith Robinson. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era and retired from BP Amoco with 28 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for 40-plus years. His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Robinson; one son, Wesley Robinson and wife, Andrea; one daughter, Tonya Hilliker and husband, Brad; one brother, Don Robinson; and three grandchildren, Asher and Abel Robinson and Emma Hilliker.
