Funeral for John Wesley Robinson Jr., 95, of Trinity will be Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dallas Culver officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Mr. Robinson, who died Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at Sunbridge Nursing Home, was born March 16, 1912, in Trinity. He was a lifelong resident of Trinity. He worked for the Morgan County Co-op for 33 years and 12 years with Allied Products. After retiring, he worked the garden that he loved and raised cows. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church for 90 years and throughout the years, he enjoyed giving silver dollars to all the newborns in the church. He loved his family, friends and church and will be missed by all who knew him. His wife of 65 years, Edith Braswell Robinson, preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, David Robinson and wife, Carol, of Trinity and Don Robinson and wife, Joan, of Keller, Texas; one brother, Richard Robinson and wife, Evie, of Trinity; special friend, Bea Miller; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Trinity Methodist Church.
